Misty Meadows is a pop-up campsite set on a working dairy farm in a beautiful area of Dorset, close to the Jurassic Coast. It's a simple but very pretty site with a small lake and a meandering river which is suitable for paddling in some parts (with adult supervision of course). It's an excellent place for some family time without the distractions of modern life. Get back to nature and see how many species of dragonfly you can spot or listen out for the frogs croaking as the sun goes down. BBQ's and firepits are allowed so make sure you bring some marshmallows and some comfy chairs for stargazing at night. It's approximately 1.5 miles from a farm shop, a convenience store and a post office and 6 miles to the County town of Dorchester. This site is wellplaced for visiting so many of Dorset's best attractions so you will never be short of activities.
